What our clients say
CJR Design and Build Ltd. undertook a garage conversion at my home in November/December 2021.
The garage was converted into a beautiful area which I am now able to rent out. The works consisted of GRP roof, to ensure previous issues of damp did not occur. This was then lined internally with insulation as were the walls, and a new front door was incorporated for additional security. The internal space was decorated to a very high standard creating a living/ sleeping area. A separate en-suite shower room was built and beautifully tiled. Finally a kitchenette was installed to which a new gas combi boiler supplies the necessary heating and hot water.
The whole area was finished with a hard wearing grey laminate flooring. Upon completion of the internal works, the external walls and the original door were repainted to enhance the entrance to the new apartment. CJR Design and Build Ltd completed the works well within the timescale, staying late or to take deliveries when necessary. The work was provided at a very competitive rate and was completed without running over budget. I found both Craig and John easy to consult with and they worked well in cooperation with Building Control and the Conservation Officer to ensure the works complied with Council requirements. I would not hesitate to highly recommend CJR Design and Build Ltd as I was absolutely delighted with every aspect of their work.
